Naturezones is a

Field Study Centre

It is dedicated entirely to wildlife discovery and recovery. We provide information about our natural heritage and how we can give it a helping hand.

We are the only centre of its kind on the Island

We operate on a shoe-string and run as a not for profit charitable organisation

Your support will help us to implement our aims and objectives which are more important today than ever before.

We have created at Naturezones a living natural  history museum where people from all walks of life but especially children a can learn about the importance of protecting and enhancing nature.

The message has to be constant, on-going and repetitive. Which is why we spend a lot of time with primary school children and their science education. We also encourage their learning to be fed back to their young parents.

In 2022 Naturezones celebrated 15 years of Natural History and Scientific Education for schools and Island communities. Its founder was also recognised by King Charles the III for her services to Conservation and Education ands was awarded the British Empire Medal

The money we raise from memberships and donations goes towards paying  part time staff x1 and contractors who maintain the 10 acre site so that it is always accessible to run our education programs. Also to cover basic running costs such as insurance, services, fuel, maintenance, food for birds and squirrels and all the other little things required to run a Wildlife Education Centre

You will also help fund free educational visits to those that live in areas of deprivation and those that need mental health and mindfulness support

Please make a small donation, buy a print, buy our first calendar with pictures of Isle of Wight wildlife taken by island photographers,  become a friend, visit us - It all helps.

Thank you
